Weeks 27 onwards - UK Pro Series - St George's Hill, Weybridge - (Hard)

This is where the groups ended overnight. Just realised that with Broady and Patten playing each other, it is highly unlikely that Peniston and McHugh can qualify without results going strongly in their direction. Liam and Henry are 1 set all now so both onto 7 pts and one of them will rise to 8 points in a few minutes.

Gray 12
Harris 7
Patten 6
Broady 6
Peniston 5
McHugh 5

Box B (4 rounds completed)

Glasspool 12
Matusevich 12 (both he and Lloyd therefore qualified)
Choinski 4
Paris 4
Broom 4
Recci 3
Basing 2
Jhun 0

In Box A, with Liam winning in a MTB, then Peniston and McHugh needs a straight sets win for one of them to stand a chance.

Gray 12

Broady 8 (completed)

Harris 7
Patten 7 (completed)

Peniston 5
McHugh 5

Billy beat Liam on day 1. So even a losing point for Billy would put him above Liam on H2H. Liam and Billy both beat Peniston, But only Liam beat Aidan.

So...Ryan is effectively out (at least in terms of the main tournament, position points obviously will start to become important); And  Aidan needs to win in 2 sets and  hope that Billy gets just 1 set and makes a 3 way tie before any countback process. Looks like long odds for Aidan as well on that basis - seems likely it will come down to Billy needing to beat Gray or Liam will get through...

So by calculations Billy just needs a set in his match against Alistair to finish 2nd.

Billy got that first set 6-2, so looks like he is in the semis for certain...

So, semis should be Anton v Billy and Allie v Lloyd, I think?
