Weeks 27 onwards - UK Pro Series - St George's Hill, Weybridge - (Hard)

That's a nice story, Bob.

I don't know him but I've watched him play a couple of times and have always like how he conducts himself on court, his attitude, and his tennis. Unlike a few in his cohort, he chose the US college route which was, I think, an excellent choice.

And, yep, free food is free food

Be interesting to see how Jan C performs - on paper, he should win easily today, of course, but I don't think his results have been great in Germany (although if I missed a couple of good ones, apologies to Jan). But it's definitely been a lot of clay....

Wow, that's some amazing tennis that young Max Basing is playing. Took the first set off Anton Mat, and currently a break up in the second...

Young Max had a healthy lead in the first half of the MTB, but just couldn't hold out.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching parts of that match.

Seeing two GB teenagers really playing well, it's a pleasure.

Nothing in it, the result's not really important, hope Max isn't too disappointed

But brilliant to see a 'new' (to me) 2002-er who's top bracket.

As said before, I've enjoyed following Arthur Féry - lots to like about him and his game, and he's getting better and better.

And I've a soft spot for a couple of the other 2002-er, such as Sam Bossem and Felix Gill.

But Max is top of the list, with Arthur, in terms of potential and what he actually produces on the court.

All good

Only just realised how much tennis Jan has been playing. Today his 51st match since the beginning of May. Appears to range from fast 4 format to 3 tie break set.

Feel sorry for Max - that's another match he's lost in a MTB, by an absolute whisker.... but hey, he's young, he'll get over it
