To be honest, assuming there's no huge Emily Arb fightback here (in which case I'd look very silly), it would probably be much better if either Jodie or Katie gave a walkover in their group decider tomorrow. I don't think there's an obvious player in the other group who they would want to avoid (maybe Katie vs Freya at a push due to friendship reasons). Jodie would get a rare day off, and even Katie would get a break as I'm not sure if shes played 5 in 5 days yet since her comeback. Plus a potential Jodie vs Katie final would likely be better as a spectacle if we didn't see it 2 days earlier.
Emily did break back, but Katie has the set 6-1.
Edit - Obviously for integrity reasons the above won't happen, but given it's been one issue after another since the start of (and even before) this tournament, I think it would ironically help.

I guess I haven't watched many Maia matches outside of an ITF stream, but I've never heard 'Scottish #1' as much as I have this week.
Anyway, good come from behind win for Lissey in a long match to book her place in the semi final. So that's 2 matches tomorrow between those already qualified.

Are the Premier level semifinalists confirmed then?

Jodie, Katie, Freya, and Alicia?
Yeah, just need to work out the group order now, but nothing too significant on the line in either Premier match tomorrow.

Maia needs to progress and others come through for future Scotland Fed Cup teams

True, becoming more of a realistic prospect, however, as it stands, with her nearest competition being #1102, it just felt quite a redundant statement. If there were a few others 400-600 then it would have been more noteworthy.

If Maia plays for the Scotland Fed Cup team, I bet she won't be allowed into tournaments at the NTC again
It's obviously a sensitive subject, but reading between the lines I think Maia would happily settle for given up her British perks if a Scottish Fed Cup team materialised in the not too distant future, but while Scotland is still part of the UK, as a British tennis fan, it did kind of make it feel like needless differentiation (for now), especially the amount if times it was mentioned.
On a similar note, I did notice the other werk that Ali C seems to be working a lot more with Judy Murray these days, and her Instagram profile suddenly changed from British tennis player to Scottish tennis player.
