Any idea on the tiebreaks for the doubles groups? Assume its sets then games?

Doubles/Hutchins Group - RR1:  Liam Broady & Cameron Norrie defeated Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski by 3-6 7-5 [11-9]

Doubles/Sabin Group - RR1:  Kyle Edmund & (ALT) James Ward defeated Dominic Inglot & (ALT) Ryan Peniston by 5 & 3

Doubles/Sabin Group - RR2: Jonny O'Mara & Joe Salisbury defeated Dominic Inglot & (ALT) Ryan Peniston by 4 & 2

Doubles/Hutchins Group - RR2:  Daniel Evans & Lloyd Glasspool defeated Liam Broady & Cameron Norrie by 4-6 6-3 [11-9]

Entertaining match.  Very competitive.  smile  Open group...

Another nail-biter for Joe & Jonny, but they got there in the end:

Doubles/Sabin Group - RR2: Jonny O'Mara & Joe Salisbury defeated Kyle Edmund & (ALT) James Ward by 6-2 5-7 [10-5]

Jamie & Neal finally get a win under their respective belts:

Doubles/Hutchins Group - RR2:  Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski defeated Daniel Evans & Lloyd Glasspool by 6-4 3-6 [10-7]

Which pair qualifies for the semis still unclear...

This site suggests Jamie and Neal win the group from Dan and Lloyd

www.scoreboard.com/uk/tennis/exhibition-doubles-men/battle-of-the-brits/standings/

the logic seems to be all were equal on 3 sets won and lost. The MTB counts as full games, ie 10-7 is just that, not 1-0.

So on games won lost:

Jamie/Neal +1
Dan/lloyd +1
Cam and Liam -2

And as Jamie and Neal beat Dan and Lloyd, they get the H2H and top spot.

If that is correct then we have semis of

Jamie and Neal v Kyle and Wardy
Joe and Jonny v Dan and Lloyd

Just games, ie ignoring the MTB. I have it
Evans/ Glasspool + 2
Murray/Skupski 0
Broady/Norrie -2

Would be strange to count each point of the MTB.
Not sure who calculated the tables for Amazon.

 Seemingly that isnt definitive though

I've seen 3 different sets of final tables now!

Also they seemed to say that Norrie v Jubb is the decider on who goes through. Which is different to what Amazon said earlier.

Appears to be confirmed that Evo/Lloyd win the group with Jamie/Neal 2nd.

Here is tomorrows order of play and that seems to be the case!!

https://twitter.com/BattleofTheBrit/status/1276289793970900993/photo/1

Glasspool and Evans play Edmund and Ward

Murray and Skupski play Salisbury and O'Mara

So Lloyd and  Dan must have won the group!

With the 3 final group singles and doubles semis today, it struck me that the OOP for Saturday and Sunday would be quite light (4 matches over 2 days, mens semis and final, doubles final).

Struck me that they might therefore have 5-8 play offs and 3-4 play offs as well? It would add 5 matches back into the schedule (5-8 x 2, then 7-8, 5-6, 3-4) and make sure all the players end up with 5 matches from the event?

Not seen anything but it would seem to make sense to do that...

Fuller is now saying Jubb vs Norrie will decide who goes through, which is so much better. It would have been ridiculous if Cam lost to Paul, so had less wins, and lost a head to head with Paul, but still went through, simply because he played an extra match (which was another loss). That should be an interesting match.

Yes, good stuff. The advantage of being such a privately run tournament is that if the position was as originally reported, it was easy to rectify it.

Good decision. Gives some real meaning to today's match.

Didn't realise Beecher was Kyle's coach. I set next to him all through Marni Banks win at Sunderland W25 at the end of February. The commentator jokingly mentioned tensions between Kyle and his coach when Liverpool were to play Palace the other day, and i knew this bloke was a Palace fan, but didn't put 2 and 2 together. He never mentioned Kyle at the time, unless this is just a new partnership?

I do quite like the mid match chats with the players for TV purposes.
