Who will win the Battle of the Brits - Doubles

Hi SC, just so you know this was only intended as a poll to see who we think will win, the main Battle of the Brits thread is set up with both singles and doubles in, here

britishtennis.activeboard.com/t66699299/week-25-special-event-schroders-battle-of-the-brits-ntc-roeh/

PS how do you rename a link like i have above so it appears where Ihave put the word here?? I always wish I knew how to do that!!

 like this Jon?

On this board you go into the reply box, click on the "a" button (under italics) click on the chain button, insert link. I already hard my "like this Jon?" words typed out which were highlighted when I did the above steps and it should turn into a blue hyperlink.

Yes, and only missing because the Murray & Skupski vs Evans & Glasspool match somehow managed to have a scoreline that fell into the very tight window that put both these pairs through at the expense of Liam & Cam.

It was when Jamie brought out a calculator mid match that I got suspicious

Anyway, we will have one pair in the final that originally only had one vote ( one of Dan & Lloyd's votes is a late addition ). Indeed that was also actually Kyle with a different partner.

Hard to know where the pairs will be at in terms of prep. Jamie and Neal v Dan and Lloyd looks a tasty group match, my feeling is Joe and Jonny will gel well and I fancy them as favourites to win it over Jamie/Neal or, possibly, Dan/Lloyd.

Well, I had an inkling on dan and lloyd and they do seem to be an ok pair. Shame it's not Wimbledon next week.

Gone for Jamie/Neal, mainly because all the others are scratch pairs. But this is doubles. Anything could happen.

One down, one to go in the prediction stakes.

Come on Kedders.

Apparently Jamie is putting on a mixed event at the end of July.

and here is more info

metro.co.uk/2020/07/09/andy-murray-jo-konta-jamie-murray-ryder-cup-mixed-british-team-tennis-event-12967057/

Two teams of 6 men and 6 women, playing 8 matches a day over 6 days, so 48 matches in total across all formats.

Andy and JoKo signed up for it. Not sure what the two teams will represent but should be interesting

The new mixed team battle of Brits of course competes directly with week 4 of the SGH event, it will be interesting to see the SGH field in that week.
