Have just read Cathy's obituary in The Times.  She was a former President of the LTA and I met her on a number of occasions related to junior tennis.  She was the most wonderfully warm and inclusive character and did everything within her power to promote grass roots tennis through the Tennis Foundation.  If there had been a hundred Cathys the LTA would be a far more effective organisation now.

I met her very briefly supporting the Brits in the Fed Cup tie at the Copper Box last year. Sad to read of her passing.
