I see that Iga ultimately prevailed by 7-6(1) 1-6 7-5.

But she was *2-5 0-30 down in the 3rd set before winning 4 points in a row and the games at 3-5*, *4-5 and 5-5* were all tight deuce games with Naomi having a MP at 3-5*.

I do hope that Naomi can get back to a consistent high level

It was a great match to watch. I really thought she had it, but not to be. Considering how little time Naomi has been back playing I think it was a sterling performance and the womens game needs her explosive tennis - she made Iga look pedestrian at times, especially when Iga was serving.
