 I was just looking at the ITF site. As it was a $75k, it was bound to be a strong field. 9 Brits in qualifying (all failed), 7 in the main draw (4 WC's) plus Jo as an Aussie (although tennisabtract show as GB)

 That was in the period when Jo was seeking British citizenship and she wasn't representing Australia anymore. She seemed to have to wait a  mighty long time before she could represent Britain unlike  people in some other sports.
