The final is showing what a strong SF C it was. That time it was McEnroe 6, Rosewall 5, with Ashe tieing Okker on 3 before comprehensively winning the play-off.

14 votes in the final from qualifiers from SF C, 5 frm SF A ( Newcombe, Edberg, Connors ) and just Goran's 2 from SF B ( Ivsnisevic, Mecir, Agassi ).
