I loved Hana Mandlikova and her game, artistic and attacking!

I could vote for four here, and I think this group will be tight, so I am sticking with Chrissie

According to Lance Tingay of The Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail, Schuurman was ranked in the world top ten from 1960 through 1963, reaching a career high of World No. 8 in those rankings in 1963.[7]8

When Virginia Wade was living (and learning) her tennis  in South Africa between 1946 and 1961 Renee Schuurman was one of  the big names of South African tennis. She was also a doubles and mixed doubles  Grand Slam champion including a doubles win in the French in 1963 with Ann Jones. She died in 2001 at the age of 61.

Pauline Betz was the first winner of Wimbledon after the war in 1946.

She was actually Julia Sampson and not Simpson. Remarkably she played in the Wimbledon ladies doubles  final with Maureen Connolly in 1953 and they did not win a game. Shirley Fry and Doris Hart beat them 6-0 6-0 and also won the semi final by the same score.
