New Poll Event - favourite former foreign player (grand slam finalists )

Over 200 votes come in so far and still a few hours left - thanks for support so far! Only 1 group is looking like a tie play off currently, but also lots of groups have opportunities for players to still get through and reach the semifinals!

6 hours left, vote closes at 6 pm.

Mens will go up just before that.

By the way, I have drawn the mens groups - randomly as per ladies - and , well, it is like Christmas. I think it will have you tearing hair out, down memory lane and whooping with joy in equal measures!

Womens polls are closed and results counted. 27 players are through and 6 players are into tie play offs for groups 2,3 and 4. The play off polls will be posted shortly.

223 votes in total have been placed, which is fabulous and shows these former stars polls , both here and in the recent Brits event, work!

Mens in play and I hope you help sort the womens playoffs out for us!!

Great to see Casals, Bueno, Connolly, Gibson all qualify, and Goolagong, Evert, Navratilova, Reid as well. Not just recent players made it through.

On the mens, I will try and provide a bit of colour on one or two of the more obsure players later. Not sure if Rosamund is into the mens game enough to provide her usual fab insights, but anyone else who has strong memories of any of them or fancies a Wiki or Google search, then please do feel free to post away! The more the merrier!
