With 24 women and 23 men, my aim is to have a mixed field of 54 but with 27 mens and womens entries each.

So 3 wildcard will be women (3 nominated so far, so if no more nominations made, all 3 will get wildcards). There will be 4 mens wildcards to make 27 entries. 5 nominations so far, so there will be a vote of some sort, depends where the numbers end up!

Yes off hand it's certainly hard to know who hasn't been included in any of these polls Jon! And for me WCs might be close misses in some of these previous events...

Despite what I just said, I'll put Lisicki, Kuznetsova, Sock, Bryan B and Bryan M up for starters then. That's 5! My feeling is I'll need 5 or 6 so if we dont add to this list they'll probably make the cut!
I'd like to suggest Luke Jensen for a wild card. I'm pretty sure that Kuznetsova was in one of the early polls.
Telstar, theres a suggestion to make it the Jensens as opposed to just Luke ...I've decided to put the Bryan's in as a pair as opposed to separately. I'm guessing we wouldn't nominate Murphy as a single person , do you wish to stick with Luke alone or make it the pair?

Yes I'd be very happy to have the Jensens as a pair. 'Dual Hand Luke' ( who could serve 130 mph with either hand) did win 6 ATP dubs title before pairing up with his younger brother but achieved significantly more (including the French Open dubs) with Murphy.

(In Bob's injury absence, Mike Bryan won 2 Grand Slams plus the ATP Finals with Jack Sock)

I'm still taking nominations by the way for wildcards so if any names come to mind...doubles stars that you think people here might really like, brits I've not included , whatever they are. Remember, they mustn't have been involved in previous polls.

Nominations close at 10pm and here is the event schedule:

Wild cards vote - 10pm tonight (Saturday) until sunday 10pm

Round one vote - 54 players in 9 groups of 6, 2 qualify from each group; monday 9 am until tuesday 9 am. Ties play offs Tuesday 9 am until tuesday 2pm

Semifinals - 18 players in 3 groups of 6, 2 qualify from each group. Tuesday 3 pm until Wednesday 3pm; ties play offs Wednesday 3pm until 8pm.

Final - 6 players. Winner is our favourite ! Wednesday 9pm until Thursday 9 pm. If it's a draw and we need a tie play off, it will be done on Thursday 10 pm until noon friday.

Oh yes. I should have come up with Daniela Hantuchova myself. So sweet, so vulnerable, and a ruddy good player at times.

At least singles QFs in 3 of the Slams, and 4 times L16 in the other ( French Open ). 3 times a doubles slam finalist.
