Well we have 29 votes in now and back to a 3-way tie at the top again!!

May need to extend longer than 6.30 pm then!

Also glad to see that Annie K now has a vote too so it's only Winnie Shaw and Claire Colman that have yet to receive one in the final

I was convinced my story about Winnies wife murdering mixed partner and subsequent Estonian Fed Cup Captain role would gain her a vote!!

If it was a competition on dodgy partners, then yes she could well be ahead of the field now!

And from p1 see it could be a play off vote break then if a tie remains.

Sudden death, first vote in counts as winner! Now that would be fun!

That would be my vote then!!

What a titanic tussle between the three of them and fitting of a favourites poll.

Yes if it stays as it is then I will set up a new poll between them. To close tomorrow afternoon.

Dont forget too we have a bonus round to do. I had intended to set this up later tonight but if the ladies final needs a play-off then I will delay that by 24 hours (Hope that wont encroach on your new poll Jon?)

Nope, all fine. I'd already assumed youd finish this sunday evening from your original schedule and then the bonus event, so tuesday evening is my planned start!

Its 6.30 and the poll is closed (32 votes)

The final has been a titanic struggle and is not over as we will need to have a play-off to settle the winner as Bally and Ginny have 8 votes each.

So final results are:-

Into play-off for first place Elena Baltacha and Virginia Wade 8 each

3rd Ann Jones 7

4th Laura Robson 4

5th Sue Barker 3

6th equal Anne Keothavong and Christine Truman 1 each

8th equal Winnie Shaw and Claire Colman
