OK Fitzy, I've got you started, now you need to gather pace!

Sorry Fitzy.  Had to go with my boy Marcus on this one.

Well it was a vote that was clearly down to Fitzy or Marcus. No?

Most here will be aware of Ross Hutchins battle with Lymphoma and he seems to be well and clear of it. He is now the ATP Director of Player Relations, for the past nearly 6 years and clearly respected in that role. A great guy, and I believe Andy Murray's best mate on tour in the day.

Folks probably also know Chris Bailey has been a tennis commentator since retiring, on both BBC and Sky. He is now working in Sydney, having first moved to Florida with CBRE and then setting up in Australia with some ex Knight Frank guys and forming a company there. BUT, he still commentates. Only he is now a football commentator for Australian Channel One and hosts a weekly World Football News programme!!!

19 votes cast and looking like its between Tim and Roger at the moment.

Good memories of both so if one of them does indeed win, I wont worry which one even though I voted for Tim here.

Other than winning Wimbledon in 2012, Jonny Marray only won 2 other main tour titles, in Chennai and Newport RI (also on grass). Many hoped he and Freddie Nielsen would go on to be a top pairing but Nielsen wanted/preferred to play singles and the pairing never continued. They did return to play in the ATP Tour Finals that season, as slam winners, and where seeded 6th, reaching the semis! In the two tournaments they played they won c. $400,000 as a pair!

At Wimbledon, also worth noting they won 4 of their 5 matches in 5 sets, one in 4 sets. They beat Granollers/Lopex, Karlovic/Moser, Qureshi/Rojer, Ceretani/Roger-Vasellin, Bryan/Bryan, Lindstedt/Tecau. Some fortnight! They played 16 tie breaks in 27 sets, and won 10 of those 16.

Not quite the tension here as with the women's voting. Tim now 2 votes ahead of Roger T, and then the three 3rd ties some way behind.

Mike S and Ross still to pick up any votes but all others have now...

Only 20 votes here though, a few behind the women. Let's hope the mens votes pick up as 2 votes in it close and it could still be tight.

Based on the semis and previous poll competitions , we should anticipate maybe another half dozen or more coming in over the rest of this event.

I voted for Mike S in all the previous rounds because of happy memories watching him with my Mum as a child.  Voted for Ross too, but in the final it's no contest - it has to be the lovely Tim.
