A reminder that 1st round groups consist of:-

- Members of Federation/Fed Cup Teams

- Additional players that were part of Wightman Cup Teams

- Players that won at least one singles match at Wimbledon

- Players from qualifying including one Lucky Loser

This is now knockout.

Top 4 from each group to qualify for 2nd Round

Yes, but glad to see that Christine Truman has votes too since in other groups I would certainly have voted for her!

Have chosen Bally too but similarly pleased about Christine Truman. Didnt see her in her day although have seen video since but did see a delightful interview with John Inverdale at the French Open last year. She seemed like a really lovely person.

I've voted for Penny Moor.

Not as well known as some of the others but I do know she wants to give something back to tennis and has got involved with her local Tennis for Free sessions.

Maybe the only player I'd never heard of in all the polls!

Here's some more recent, 2007, colour

Thanks Jon, I met her a couple of years ago and tried to find out some information about her but couldn't find anything, so interesting.

21 votes here, popular group and Bally sitting pretty at the top. Her and Ginny Wade seem to have the most across the womens groups
