A reminder that 1st round groups consist of:-

- Members of Federation/Fed Cup Teams

- Additional players that were part of Wightman Cup Teams

- Players that won at least one singles match at Wimbledon

- Players from qualifying including one Lucky Loser

This is now knockout.

Top 4 from each group to qualify for 2nd Round

Saw Sarah Loosemore live a few times, another Welsh player. Voted for her.

I made a mistake in my vote.. I looked up a few people and also meant to vote for Sarah and thought I had put my vote down for her.. but I must have indicated a vote earlier and didn't check that my reallocated vote had actually shifted...so Julie Salmon has a free vote from me instead! wink

... but I'm wishing Sarah does go through....

Ok - I'll try to remember to shift the vote at the end if necessary

She was the last British player to beat Jo even if it was with a retirement.

I'm sure that is correct but I cant see that driving her popularity? There must be something more! I can see from twitter she is doing lots of stuff around lockdown tips and tricks and looks fun, maybe it's her current profile ?

Jade's working for a charity now, and on a personal note, having met her and hung round with her and her mum abit for a couple of tourneys, she's a lovely person, very unassuming and has a great work ethic.
