With large groups such as these, it would be great if each "voter" could select their Top 3 in each group, particularly as the top 3 plus ties are going through.
I am assuming however that the software wouldn't allow for that, even it others agreed it was a good idea.
Thanks Indiana - that was good fun - one group I couldn't decide between two players I really like, and another one I looked at, I couldn't think of any of the players I particularly liked. Lots of the groups looked really tight and I was pleased to see after I clicked, that the one that had two of my favourites in, both look to be coming through. There is one group where just one vote could see players through.

Yeah, the software only allows 1 vote per person. It is the same on many of these Twitter polls that are all over the place, you can only vote for 1.
Do agree , it would be good to be able to have more than 1 vote
As it stands, Indy is going to get 39 players heading through to the second round, fun time making that 2nd round draw Indy!
Hey Jon. You are supposed to be working
Haha. I sort of am - i was writing a report all day yesterday and Monday, but managed to get the draft done for QA review mid morning this morning, so have a little time to myself...!
Until I get feedback telling me I have loads of changes to make!

Just about manage with that. Be groups of 13 again. And the good thing now is that all the groups have at least 3 players with 2 votes or more and actually we are currently down to 35 SF qualifiers. My biggest fear was 2 players ahead and then a load on 1 vote.
Still much to play for. So not voted yet? Your votes can make differences.

The 10 WTA groups have produced 37 SF qualifiers so we will have one SF group of 13 and two of 12.
Clearly leading the way in votes were Kvitova and Osaka, each with 10. Given that the SFs are purely seeded by group positions with no account of votes they could find themselves in the same SF. Will there be a SF group of death? The draw will take place tomorrow. The top 4 in each SF plus ties will advance to ths final.
5 players managed to advance with just 2 votes - Cirstea, Hon and Rus from the Osaka group plus Bertens and Gauff in a group led by Muguruza (6) and Puig (5).
Particularly unlucky were Mladenovic and Stephens who missed out with 3 votes in a very tight group one, behind 3 qualifiers with 4 votes.
Thanks all for voting. There were 19 votes in 9 of the groups and for some reason(s) 17 in the other.

Onwards for now with the ATP groups ...
Good stuff, Indy. I counted 5 of the 37 are Americans, 4 Czech and 3 Aussies, for what it is worth. And 2 are called Williams.
The randomness of the groupings really makes this fun; and difficult! Thanks for organising.
I've just entertained myself by looking at the 'voting slips' and seeing how many of the mens' nationalities I could guess. I got 108 out of 130 which was a bit better than expected. The only group I got all 13 in was Group 2-helped by a couple of pretty wild guesses. I obviously know zero about Slovakian mens' tennis and am not very good at distinguishing between Croats and Serbs! Will have a try now with the women and hope to do a bit better.

Managed 100 per cent with Groups 4, 8 and 10. 119 out of 130 in total. Got the following wrong: Varvara Gracheva (thought Lepchenko must have married), Kozlova, Di Lorenzo, Rybakina, Bouzkova, Cabrera, Ferro, Zidansek, Bonaventure, Zavatska and Kovinic.
