So, if anyone out there wants to throw out 4 pairs of numbers 1-8 for the womens and then someone else for the mens, that would be great!

So, thanks Indy and here is the womens QF draw:

Women's QF :

Dart vs Svitolina
Kvitova vs Halep

Barty vs Konta
Andreescu vs Williams

All tough at this stage!

The first two ties will be posted as polls in the morning, probably around noon to finish noon Thursday.
The other two ties will go up in the late afternoon, to finish late afternoon Thursday.

British players in separate poll groups so keeps interest nicely spread!

And thanks Bagel for the mens. The Good Old Fashioned Way has led us to:

Evans v Murray (Ha!)
Nadal v Federer (Hahaha!)

and
Monfils v Djokovic
Goffin v Tsitsipas

Wow, thats made it interesting. As per ladies, first matches up around noon, second matches around tea time.

Remember these arent halves of the draw - there will be a complete redraw for the semis on Thursday evening!

First batch of matches:

Dart vs Svitolina
Kvitova vs Halep
Evans v Murray
Nadal v Federer - selected for BBC prime time match. Hard to believe any match could out rank Murray v evo!

And second batch:

Barty vs Konta - selected for BBC prime time match.
Andreescu vs Williams
Monfils v Djokovic
Goffin v Tsitsipas

Was looking at the record of Kvitova v. Halep and surprised they have not met since the autumn of  2016. They have only met 5 times and twice was in Fed Cups.  I know Kvitova was out of action because of the attack but surprisingly low  number of meetings for 2 top players.

Just kidding, thanks for joining in and helping out and welcome to the forum by the way!

No offence taken! Thank you JonH for the welcome and for giving us such an entertaining event. I wonder when British players were actually last so well represented in           the Wimbledon quarters?
