The final set of first round matches/polls will be put up tonight so that they close Tuesday night. A little ahead of plan but I feel the more the merrier, momentum is a thing!
The QF's will thus be known Tuesday night and the draw can be done Wednesday am and polls posted to maintain the schedule.
So look out for those final 4 matches later
Bencic v Svitolina
Dart v Sabalenka
Bautista- Agut v Nadal
Edmund v Federer
Meanwhile, the 3rd set are in play and ticking over nicely, still due to complete around 10 am tomorrow.
Remember, first round will finish tomorrow evening just after 5. So shortly after that I'll ask for support to do the qf draws, 4 random pairs of number 1 to 8 for women and then men.
So if you fancy helping out be online around then and jump quickly when I call out!
Matches are flooding on to the courts today. Wimbledon's 'Super Tuesday'! Will there be enough show courts for the schedule to be completed?
Its sunny and we have the roof, and the locals are so keen to have normality , the council is allowing play past midnight!
Ps when is court one roof ready as a serious aside !
Court 1 roof is already in place. Was first used at Championships last year on the second day when Riske v Vecic was paused for bad light at 5 all in the 3rd.

ah-ha, there you go, our event is well "covered" so to speak!
Do you know, I had no idea and watched a lot of the event last year!
They used it to full advantage on the third day as well, closing specially so Gauff could play Rybarikova. (We were there). Atmosphere is quite different, sounds strange after the normal play.
