Who is your favourite British Player?! THE FINAL

I am reminded that 3 years ago to the week of March 20th, I did the first of a series of lockdown polls which got us voting on all sorts of things tennis wise. It kept many amused for a few weeks at a terrible time.

I thought I might reprise the first of those votes and maybe the most relevant one for this forum - our favourite British player.

Time has moved on and Dan Evans won 3 years back - would he win again? So next week Ill run some again - the world may have moved on as well and the polls may have been of their time, but it will be interesting to see where are. Ill need to check how I decided which players to include - we had 60 players last time out in 2020, so Ill need to see if I wrote the rules down somewhere! For those interested, the original polls were on page 24 of this set of pages. March 22nd 2020

Some players in the field 3 years ago included

Andrew Watson ?!
Emily Arbuthnot
Gabi Taylor (what happened to her?)
Aleksandr Pitak
Vicky Allen

I chose the top 20 mens and womens singles and top 10 doubles in each to make 60 total so will do as
This year

But it through up some names that I just couldnt remember beyond recognising the name, vaguely!

I remember Gabi Taylor was well regarded? Andrew Watson rings very few bells for me though !

I remember that now - and she looks happy and relaxed (and what an attractive lady) and creates some great art, glad she made a move that has worked for her!

Ok, so Im going to go with this - will post some polls and start a 2023 version of this vote ! 60 players selected, top 20 mens and womens singles, top 10 mens and womens doubles. Plus one or two extra to account for duplicates in those sets
Of lists.

New poll will go up later
