Champion of Champions Fantasy World Tennis Event

4 out of 6 matches so far have ended up in a seedings upset ie the player with less slams winning. It either means a) slams arent everything b) surface is the key c) favourite players arent necessarily the biggest slam winners

Maybe a combo of all those, or something else?

Tomorrows matches will be Monica Seles versus Martina Navratilova and Roger Federer versus Pete Sampras, mouthwatering.

Friday has Chris Evert versus Serena Williams or Billy Jean King, and Bjorn Borg versus Rafa Nadal or Rod Laver.

Sadly , tickets are sold out for both.

So tonight and through tomorrow, we have

Seles versus Williams

Federer versus Laver

Starts this evening, would be great to get a decent amount of votes - 15 is top per match so far, let's try and beat that?!

Thanks guys and for indulging me!

Not sure if anyone interested , I've got an idea for a fab set of polls that I will put up after this event is over, will take us through a few days.

No idea whether this whole stuff is actually of any interest or fun for others, hard to tell, so let me know if I'm boring you all!

It's been far from boring-thanks so much for setting it up. In the absence of real tennis it's been great to follow these match ups. You mentioned a British-only competition but were worried about the inevitability of the outcome in the mens' event. Maybe a 8 player draw with a challenge round against Andy for the winner?

Cool, but I've got it all ready and sorted! Look out for more information tomorrow evening!

And thanks for the kind words ! I get very self indulgent and then think I'm being selfish so it's good to know !

I'm feeling an all GB mixed doubles tournament coming on wink

And can I also agree Telstar comments.  Keep the tournaments coming.

Thank you JonH.
