Well done Katie. I was hoping she'd win, but wasn't expecting that sort of scoreline. Possibly #1 Sharma next who also plays a qualifier, but that's not until a little later.

Really intrigued by tonight's match. I do expect Sharma to win, and there'll certainly be no 'Astra lost xxx to xxx the other week' type posts from me should she win, but the bookies have this really close, despite the current big difference in ranking. 

I think a lot will depend on how Sharma serves because when its on, it's a very big weapon for her.

I really wish there was a stream for it, but I guess Liverpool vs Atletico will have to suffice. Apparently some of the much later matches are on Facebook which is no good here, but might come in handy later.

Play due to start at 8pm. Good luck Katie.

Lost 3-6 5-7.

Looks a decent enough effort, just the 2 breaks of serve in the match, 1 in each set.
