Easy enough for Emily. Looks like her FQR opponent will only be decided tomorrow, unless there are further matches that go ahead later today.

Just about to post the same CD smile. Might catch a bit of it, considering it could be a grim few months ahead.

 Yeah, exactly smile

I might be reduced to watching archived recordings of the U12s at Auray !

Only saw the first set which wasn't great ( to say the least)

But Emily App is now in the MD of a 25k. And against a wildcard with a ranking not a zillion miles off her own. So, although she presumably won't be the favourite, it is about as favourable a draw one could hope for....

There is another stream for Emily tonight, and looks like she is on during a specific evening session, 6pm local, which is 9pm here.

She's a 3/1 underdog, but while I agree you can't really complain about getting someone in the 400s in a W25, it does look like the Brazilian was just a late WC, and would have comfortably got in via her ranking if she entered sooner, so not a traditional outsider WC in that sense.

Good point, AV.

However, her opponent doesn't seem to be on great form (lost in qualis in the last 25k and in R1 of the one before that where she was only in via an SE; even lost in R1 of a 15k this year, although made the final in another)

So I'm hoping Emily comes along a bit more ready for the races this time!

A cheeky CD bet in the nature of Cheltenham and all that? smile
