I was rather disappointed with Eden today - her game wasn't quite there, and the partnership wasn't really working. And after last week's early exit at Sunderland, the score was pretty much as I expected.

Mind you, I wasn't over-impressed with the opposition either !

It's not been vintage, and she's needed 3 sets in her last 3 matches, had to save a MP in R2 against a qualifier who was serving for match, and came through 3 TB sets today, but good to see Kenin reach a final here after those post AO early exits in the Middle East, which were discussed on another thread.

 

Plays Anna Lena Friedsam in tomorrow's final who was last seen losing to Clara Tauson in R2 of the Glasgow W25 2 weeks ago.

Kenin in another battle here 6-2 4-6 *4-3 (ALF has recovered one of the breaks in the decider).

Takes the decider 6-4. Tough week, but a 5th title of WTA intl level and above (the above obviously including a particularly big one).
