Evan got completely beaten up in the first set but made a good fight of it in the second. Came into the net a lot (not always successfully, but at least was playing positively). Probably deserved a tie-break, at least. However, Igor was certainly the better player overall.

Decent win for Whitehouse, he has had a pretty good 3 weeks on the ITF British Circuit, 5 wins to date including this, with Aidan McHugh on the same, and Jack Draper on 6 so far

Tidy, undramatic, relatively easy first set from Jack, 6-2

George Houghton was 1-4 down but it's now back on serve

And then Jack's opponent retires. So victory Jack 6-2 retirement

Terribly close but somehow the Belgian always looked the most likely - George H loses the first set 5-7

Anton won 7-5 7-5

However, both players had several big MTOs.

Anton's was definitely for his lower back (and maybe his side).

Not sure about Patrick's....
