Good win for ken, so just ken and Jonny left in doubles play this week at main tour level.

Super convincing win for Kyle against a top 20 player (certain board members please take note wink)

Humbert or Fritz up next so a very decent chance of going further.

This is true. What is also true is FAA was in a Sunday final in France.

Exactly,  kyle needs to back it up. The 3 Americans in his way are all beatable though.

Agreed.  He was also in the final the previous week (in Rotterdam) and therefore is clearly a player in form having reached those two consecutive finals.

In form, and maybe tired -lots of travel too. Quite surprised he turned up here so kudos to him for doing so. Good win for Kyle also. This is looking more like the player he can be.

On the BBC Radio5 sports desk at 7.30 they announed that Kyle had beaten Taylor Fritz. I hope the rest of their news and sports results are not like that.

Big month coming up for Kyle. 305 points to defend from three tournaments.
