Yes, great to see her back on court again. I was surprised to see her ranking was still that high, but having checked I see that 84 of her 112 points drop off in May, so she's got some time left yet to build up again.

Esther underway with a break, *1-0. Shame there's no streams for this (unless they bring a camera out later in the week). Sunderland had streams last April, so hopefully they will next week as well.

Much better second set, very competitive. But alas, a break in the final game sees Esther lose the set 6-4, and the match.

Barnett played really well first set against Freidsam with several break points. Friedsam has her leg taped at the back did not seem to be moving well. However she did step up second set some powerful drives from back of court.
