 Agreed. What a super tournament it has been for Eliz. Whatever happens in the next round she can hopefully take great encouragement from this and try to kick on. Ok it is the lowest level but how many times do we have these threads and they are all over on day one.

Good for Gabi to get time on court and winning some matches should help her confidence and her fitness levels.

Gabi managed to break and level the match at 5-5 after a long game - but the effort must have told, because she lost the next two games and the match, only winning one point.
