It's at least time to start getting their years going, and these matches give them that chance, clearly particularly Cam.

Cam and Kyle both play tomorrow, as does Luke in doubles.

Pleased for Kyle to get the win. Didn't see any of the match so can't comment but any win is a good win at the moment. Schnur (WR121) or Koepfer (WR94) up next so hopefully a chance to go further.

Koepfer (sorry cant do the .. above the O!) is interesting. As I have mentioned, I saw him win Ilkley final over Novak and get the WC for Wimbledon. Since then, he reached last 16 at US Open and seemed to be ready to crack on for top 50 but injury stalled him. Since then, though, and he hasnt beaten anyone top 100 (best is 137) and in 2020 he has done ok in two challengers but not really made any in roads.

His game was quite instinctive and he beat Novak that day through playing a varied and  creative game but he made too many mistakes by far. He was a sort of sub Dan Evans really. On a steady indoor court and with Kyle playing well, Kyle should win this but Koepfer can be dangerous and it could go the other way. tennis abstract rates it 64-36 and I reckon that is pretty good as an estimate of how it could go.

Slow start from Cam, but he's just broken back, so hopefully on track. *2-3

Koepfer (sorry cant do the .. above the O!) [...]

You mean the Umlaut, Jon ("ö")?  Easy peasy:  make sure your Num Lock is turned on, then hold down the Alt key, type 148 on the numeric keypad et voilà...  wink  For the record, an "e" is used to modify (technical grammatical term!) the three so-called "strong" vowels in German (& certain other languages), the others being "ä" & "ü", where the relevant character is, for whatever reason, not available.  The effect is the same for a native German-speaker.
