Jay lost but a good week all the same. More of this!

Yeah not a bad week. Should help towards defending his big counter coming up fairly soon and as I recall, last year he had a fairly barren spell after that until the grass season.

SF:  (1) Taro Daniel (JPN) WR 110 defeated (6) Jay Clarke WR 155 by 3 & 1

No shame in losing to the top seed, I suppose.

His big China Challenger title 125 points come off on 20/04. So still fair time to get in more of the defence in advance.

His live ranking shows hes lost points though over the AO period, did he have a big week around this time last year?

He reached the Burnie SF (29 points) last year as well so that's been defended. Also though he has Launceston QF (15 points) coming off on Monday, so net 15 points down.

This year's Launceston is next week. He's competing there along with Liam and Brydsn.

Got it, yeah it appears he will drop 6 places in Monday's rankings to 161 but hopefully pick some of those back in tasmania

Of course I could have checked that myself beforehand instead of being lazy biggrin
