As Tim would say, that's very disappointing.

Tim just really used up that phrase in his post match interview down there in Monte Carlo so I think he only have breath to say it sucks now....lol

So let me get this right then :

17 out of 17 Brits lost in the first two rounds of qualifying.

4 out of 4 Brits lost in the 1st round of the Main Draw.

Add to that, 2 out of 2 Brits lost on the 1st day in Monte Carlo.

There have been better starts to a tennis week

It's a shame, as Jamie & Big Arv had good draws too, vs. Stoppini (246) and Peya (309) respectively. They should have had a good chance against those sort of ranked players.

Josh Goodall did well taking a set off Cakl (150).

So it's down to Boggo and Bloomers to put the pride back in GB, as Martin Lee and James Auckland have got awful draws against Gimelstob (seed 2) and Saulnier (seed 5).

Go go Boggo!

Hey, I'd like to think it's down to Lee and Auckland too.  Very tough tasks, yes.  So far, some Brits have lost games they were expected to win.  It's allowed to happen the other way.

Go for it, Martin and James !
