How many British main draw wins will we get at AO 2020?

So , here is the poll we all look forward to (I hope!)

How many wins will we achieve in the main draws of MS, WS, MD, WD and XD events, the 5 main draw events.

In 2019 at the slams we got

AO - 18

FO - 13

Wimbledon -25 

USO - 24 

The average  therefore has been 20 wins per event and so I have set 20 slap bang in the middle of the poll range. Will we get more that 25 and have a crazy year or less than 13 and wonder where tennis is going in 2020? 

SO where will we be this year at the AO, with 7 main draw singles players and 7 or 8 in the doubles (depending on whether Dan gets in as an alt) and to be honest who knows in mixed (Jamie, one or two others no doubt, Joe and Neal most likely).

Remember, doubles counts as ONE win if there is a pair together (such as Jamie and Neal) or if there is just one player in the pair (such as Joe with Rajeev) - both count as 1 win.

Without knowing who is playing mixed, I feel that although some of our guys have done well the past few weeks , singles and doubles, I dont feel too optimistic, so have voted for a slight drop from last year at 16-17

 I recall we all got very excited when the US Open wins reached 24 - be good if it repeats itself! 

 

24-25 is very spicey!

 Hi CD,  I didnt apply a shut to be honest as it never seems to work. I'm not sure when doubles draws are so wasnt sure but maybe if indy or one of the mods could close it down maybe monday evening ?

No problem - it was only if it shuts today, I'll just have a random punt, quickly, because I'm racing around, but you've got have a punt!

But if it were tomorrow, I might have time to actually think about it slightly (which will probably mess it all up royally ! )

So I'll have a go tomorrow....

 Ha! Year also amended to say 2020, bit of a schoolboy error from me that !

I was feeling pretty negative - almost went for 12 !

And then felt I was being 'unpatriotic' and grumpy, so decided to at least go for last year's number. So another 18.

(But wouldn't be surprised if it were 12 cry)

I went through the draw counting how many wins we might reasonably expect and came up with 15. Since no-one else has chosen that I decided to stick with it. And if I lose it's still good news if our players are still winning!

Went for an optimistic 25 or so, based on encouraging results pre-main tournament from both the men and women Brits.
