Yes wonderful from Harriet, and so just to confirm the final result.

This also means that Harriet has now recovered the 40 pts she won here last year, which will leave her ranking around 170 something, unless she does get that favourable first round draw...

FQR: Harriet DART (GBR) 169 def Giulia GATTO-MONTICONE (ITA) 150 (CH:149 July 19) 6-1 6-3

I think what is really impressive for Harriet is that she has won 3 matches all in 3 straight sets and with no drama, suggesting she is really in form and her game is honed and consistent.

Excellent

Fantastic Harriet! Two years in a row! I really am wishing for a favourable 1R :D It'd be interesting to see her winning ratio % across GS qualifying, and that in comparison to all other GB players of the past 20... she surely must be at the top? Qualified for 3 grand slams now, can't remember many other players achieving that?

Jo's record is W15-L6 (qualified for 3 Slams and reached the final round of qualifying twice) Replicated Laura's  record nearly.

Interesting. Thanks folk.

These are much better qualifying records than my fuzzy memory would have thought.

Exciting for Canada to see 17 year-old Leylah Fernandez qualify.

For info, Sam Murray is the 10th highest ranked WTA player never to have an actual WTA Tour level win to her name (actually, how many WTA Tour matches has Sam played?). See table on 2nd level - link in case tables dont copy across well http://tennisabstract.com/reports/WTA_BestWhoHavent.html
