Well first round draw is complete now - and Sam will get to take on Bondar, Katie S's conqueror. It should be an interesting match.
Katie B also gets another qualifier, so in that sense good draws from them both, in this very strong field. Tig, the top seed, is WR 113 - and this is just a W25, which shows the shortage of warm up events especially for Aus Open qualifying.

Anna Bondar is the player who gave Jo such a tough match at last years Fed Cup match against Hungary.
