C/RR1: (2) Cameron Norrie WR 53 (CH = 41 last May) vs (2) Dimitar Kuzmanov (BUL) WR 423 (CH 250 in December 2018)
C/RR1: (1) Daniel Evans WR 42 (CH = 41 in March 2017) vs (1) Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) WR 20 (CH = 3 in November 2017)
According to the dedicated Cup page on the ATP site, the doubles players have yet to be decided. Tin Pan will surely select Jamie & Joe ... won't he?
C/RR1: Jamie Murray & Joe Salisbury CR 45 (23+22) vs Adrian Andreev & Alexandar Lazarov (BUL/BUL) CR 2088 (1611+477)
From the Beeb (I've added some punctuation! ):
Tim Henman, who is captaining the British team at the ATP Cup in Sydney, said he was confident that the air quality will not be a problem at the tournament.
"I think, in the context of what this country is going through with the bushfires and for us having to deal with perhaps slightly poor air quality, I think there is the perspective," he said. "I don't envisage it being a problem at all."
Working through the draw, GB look like a qf team and no more. One of the top ru spots would almost certainly need a 2-1 record and probably 7-2 in rubbers or at least 6-3 to get one of the two spots. I think Belgium and Serbia can achieve that, with France, Spain, GB, Russia, Argentina and Germany winning the groups. Dont see Canada repeating there DC heroics and fancy Spain for this title also with Russia the final opposition.
I think it's too 3 with Andy using his or and kylecwas already accepted at another tournament when Andy dropped out or maybe like Liam he didn't realise he had to enter
I notice that Kyle isn't in this. I thought that he was up there, so how come he's playing elsewhere?
Not sure on the exact reason although others have offered possible explanations. But just wanted to say that I am pleased Kyle is playing elsewhere as he has a chance to get better ranking points. He needs to get his season off to a good start to maintain any momentum he gained from playing in the DC in Madrid.

Thanks Bob, I haven't been on the boards over Christmas, so wondered whether I've missed something.

Kyle declared some time ago he was not playing this ATP Cup and it gives the likes of Nozzer a run so all good. Of course if there is to be a single unified DC + ATP Cup event then you'd be wanting GB best team and since Kedders played really well in the DC, it might have been good for us but decision was already made over his schedule.
Nozzer takes the first set with Kuzmanov making 18 unforced errors, decisive but Cam playing well here.
New things for this year I found out at the coin toss.
4 minute warm ups instead of 5.
You can challenge anything like nots ups or ball going through the net.
Stadium at 2% capacity.
The triple venue I like although the attendance is poor for a WC event. The different 3rd set format for dubs I do not like. Should be the same game for dubs and singles for me. As far as I can see they have fixed a problem with the dubs 3rd set that didn't exist. GB v Bulgar crowds better than Belgium fixture last night, which were tragic.
I think in these early season events we always see a lot of upsets and suspect the ATP Cup will end up being no different , despite my predictions above which pretty much go with the form book
