For info, keeping a tab of players wins, so far Khachanov, Medvedev and Shapovalov all have 4 wins over the group stages. Ruud, Dimitrov, Auger-Aliassime all have 3 of today's set of players (so far) and also Djokovic has 3 wins so far as well.
For GB, all players contributed equally, Dan, Cam and Jamie and Joe all have 2 wins.
to clarify, this is singles and doubles wins in total.
For those who recall, Nadal topped the list in Davis Cup, with Shapo a close second, both playing singles and doubles.
As an aside, Dan is in equal 8th place in this early stage of the Live Race. Novak (who I saw at Ilkley last season) is top...for now
1 Dennis Novak 26.3 AUT2 167
2 Daniil Medvedev 23.9 RUS1 155
3 Denis Shapovalov20.7CAN1 150
4 Alex de Minaur 20.8 AUS1 140
5 Casper Ruud 21 NOR1 130
6 Nick Kyrgios 24.6 AUS2 125
7 Marcos Giron 26.4 USA9 125
8 David Goffin 29 BEL1 115
8 Hubert Hurkacz 22.9 POL1 115
8 Daniel Evans 29.6 GBR1 115
Dan will probably play De Minaur or Kyrgios in the QF and a win could take him to 30th in live rankings as noted by someone earlier - and a possible seeding. Big match for Dan on Thursday,

To be honest that wasn't the Novak that I was expecting, when I read on after the first line.
In the RU spots race, Japan, Austria, South Africa and/or France (not listed below but 3-3 on matches) could usurp Belgium and Canada when they play tomorrow. Japan have Spain though, so will probably fall to a 5-4 record, South Africa play France and one of them will probably need to win 3-0 t be able to improve on Canada's 5-4, 12-8 matches record. Austria play Poland and again 3-0 is probably needed, but they could turn out to be surprise package and steal through. But between Belgium, Japan, Canada, Austria, South Africa/France for those 2 places.

Wow, brilliant, exactly the result we needed to win the group! Things tougher now against Australia though, home advantage and two singles players that we won't be favourites against.

Not to mention the fact that the Gooch & John Peers, as much a scratch pairing as Jamie & Joe, have won all three of their matches, playing only one tie-break & an MTB in the process!

although to be fair, todays Greek pairing was a bit of a patsy...Tsitsipas the younger (or older? Not sure)

It was Petros Tsitsipas, with the massive doubles ranking of 1072 (well much better than his singles of 1415 !!)

Petros Tsitsipas is Stefanos' younger brother by two years.
Bah, what a waste of effort from the GB team in making each of their wins vs Moldova so conclusive and waste of my time in calculating just how strong a position they had got themselves into to be one of the best RUs, when the ruddy Belgians go and win 2-1 so all we needed to do was beat Moldova 3-0 by any means
Can we buy back some of these unneccessary extra good games to use in the QF?
