Just to note that according to the individual event pages, all British Tour events up to June 27th are now cancelled. The next event that is NOT cancelled yet is the Tier 2 event at Frinton starting on 29th June.
If it should go ahead, andd the Premier event at Paddington the following week, there could be some surprise entries !
With players back on court and thinking about tournaments I wonder if the LTA would think about the schedule for July and August especially and whether it is possible to increase the number of British Tour events? There will be a big demand, with all the usual entrants, players back from American uni and probably all the lower level professionals, and juniors who may have otherwise being doing itf junior tournaments, if they haven't started back. It would be good really if at least two BT events could be on the same week to get more players involved and if the events could be spread geographically so most players don't need to stay away from home, using hotels, restaurants etc.
There are thirteen events scheduled at the moment, running from 29th June to the end of the year. There are only a couple of empty weeks before the end of September, so any additional events would have to overlap - and that has to be a good idea to get more players involved. I've been checking the calendar every few days to see if there are any changes.
We have made the decision to extend the cancellation of all LTA staged and LTA approved competitions (Grade 1 to 6) up to Sunday 26th July 2020 which includes County Week and the Scottish Junior Open (Grade 2)
Next event not yet cancelled is now the Tier 2 event at Ilkley starting on 27th July.
Of course, these are separate events to the NTC events starting on 3rd July

In theory, yes, but at the moment the Leaderboards have been suspended, so we'll have to wait until after the first week of competition to see what the current position is.
But with 6000 points available for the winners of the Premier Tier and 4000 points for the Tier 1 there is scope for considerable progress.
Sam will have competition from Jodie and Emma R though.
And before someone asks, the matches are scheduled on outside hard courts, so there probably won't be any streamimg - maybe one court if we are lucky.
Just saw the draw for week 1 and see there's now no Katie B. Was this reported anywhere, or did she just quietly withdraw? I'm sure Harriet was the only notable omission from week 1 who was also playing the Progress Tour event.
It's week one.
Very contrasting sections. Look at the third quarter, and then the fourth quarter. Lily's highest rank opponent is Eliz WR1109. The fourth quarter has Beth, Naomi, Freya and Jodie !
