Limited knowledge on a lot of the field here, but possibly the best final on paper (at the start of the event). You could maybe have argued Grace vs Esther, but Emma beat the latter 1 and 1 in the QF and had hardly dropped any games coming into today.
I had the 2nd set on in the background and Emma was 6-2 3-0 up and looked like another safe passage through, but Michelle clawed it back to 3-4*, before Emma took the final 3. 6-2 6-4.
Maybe its a good way to get a match in day after day without actually exerting herself too much. When she goes back on tour, the likelihood is that she will be in qualifying for tournaments so a good way of replicating that without risking breaking down again?
I wasn't sure who you were meaning, I assumed Boulter, but didn't know the context of the statement, and was thinking have any of these BT players been on tour much, ha.
Next weeks draw includes Katie Boulter , as well as some players like Lily Miyazaki and Andre Lukosiute (who I dont know?)
Miyazaki, Yuriko Lily DA 351 Boulter, Katie DA 374 Allen, Victoria DA 1061 Popescu, Anna DA 1195 Lukosiute, Andre DA 1292 Piper, Grace DA 1.1 28 Rajecki, Amelia DA 1.1 30 Staff, Holly DA 1.1 31 Nicholls, Olivia DA 1.1 48 Barnes, Katherine DA 1.2 38 Adeshina, Esther DA 1.2 47 Russell, Charlotte DA 1.2 50 Richardson, Erin DA 1.2 51 Dawson, Jessica DA 1.2 53 Wild Card WC Wild Card WC
Interested to see if Grace can continue her form and katie b also should be expecting to win this next event.

Andre is a young Lithuanian player based in the UK (coached by the Porter Twins in Essex I think). Has played and won British tour events in recent years and played the very occasional ITF in the last year or so.
Latest entry list: Katie Boulter and Olivia Nicholls have now withdrawn. Lily is comfortably the top player in what is a very diluted field for a Premier event

Yeah, that's a shame for interest, although not a huge surprise I guess. It's a lot better than last week, and similar to week 2 (bar Maia), although they were both Tier 1 and this is Premier as you say. Alicia D did beat Lily in a MTB in week 2, and there's a few more fairly promising teens here, so maybe she won't have it all her own way, but she (Lily) should start as a firm favourite.
I was thinking the other day if Lily would have liked to have played at the SGH events? I assume she's probably not eligible, but I'm sure she'd have appreciated more match play against a similar level of player, not to mention the increased prize money. I would personally normally prefer the better opportunities to be for those representing GB, but from a spectacle / competition POV, she'd have a lot better value than some of the players competing these past couple of weeks.
Edit - In terms of the 2 WCs, I don't suppose we'll get any interesting left field additions, and looking at the Alts, Danielle Daley never seems too far away from a WC, and Olivia Rook did make the semi last week, so bar any further withdrawals, they could be in contention. Sasha Hill would be fairly competitive.

It looks like they haven't bothered with WCs and have just gone next in, with Danielle Daley and Annali Olivelle (never heard of her) taking up the final 2 spots.
