Has Billy played every week? He must be banking a nice wad to keep him going, hopefully a move up the rankings will be his reward when things get going again and he can commit to another 6 months on tour without the stress of where the money is coming from.

Just to add, his experiences would make a cracking documentary,

I am not exactly sure of how much money he has made but his record over the 4 weeks has been:

British Tour Tier 1 - semifinal

UK Pro Week 1 - 4th place

UK Pro Week 2 - 2nd place

UK Pro Week 3 - 2nd place

I am going to hazard a guess that those 2nd place finishes at UK Pro will be c. $7.5k prizemoney (winner gets $5k) and maybe another $2.5k for 4th place? Plus a few hundred at the British Tour event, so maybe around $10k over the 4 weeks, plus he should be aiming at a decent finish this week as well

He's on a tough schedule will be interesting to see if he plays week 5 or takes a break before the classic/finals week. I suppose for the level he is it's the best money currently on offer for GB tennis players and you need to take it while it is going. Especially as there is no idea when the tours will really get going either. Even if ITFs tournaments are going again i'd imagine they will be few and far between the entry lists will therefore be stacked.

Your ranking list is a bit out of alignment. Just for clarity, where there are two lines opposite a players name they need to be combined, working down from the top. So Henry Patten is WR1325, and Felix Gill is WR1497

Ha, yes! I cut and paste directly from the excel on the BT website, which was all of course aligned.

Bizarre thing is, the previous day it cut and paste in good shape, a day later it is all heywire!!

Strange things happen when pasting things into posts directly from the web. I've taken to creating a table in Word, and then pasting that in - seems to work OK most of the time. Need to be on a PC of course !
