The doubles final:

(1) Dominic Inglot & Joe Salisbury CR 60 (53+7) vs Alastair Gray & Cameron Norrie CR 1010 (1002+208)

Cam & Ali currently lead by 4-1!

Cam & Ali s, but I couldn't quite get my head round the scoring system!  confuse  That 4-1 was the first set to them & they won the second on a tie-break after the games went to 3-3.

Yeah, it's 'fast 4', so basically first to 4 games each set, and a TB at 3-3. World Team Tennis, where a lot of the doubles guys are playing next week do it similar, but theirs is first to 5, so a TB at 4-4.

We were discussing the format and didn't like the tie break at 3-3, would prefer to have a tie break at 4-4. Also wondered if it would be better to have a single set to 6 as they do in the US  college format rather than two short sets???

I hadnt looked too closely before, but see Jack D and Paul J are in this weeks British Tour field.

Luke Johnson and Mark Whitehouse appear to have withdrawn today.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Luke and Mark in week 3 of the Uk Proseries then. If that is the case then it would make sense as playing this and then the Pro Series would make 11 days straight if you went all the way. The money on offer in the Pro Series isn't small either. Sounds like the sort of money that will help a lot with planning when the tour starts up again.

And here is another route to the same draw as Madadman has posted!

Jack Draper v Arthur Fery will be an interesting opening round match

Will be nice to see Marcus Walters back on a court.

And Finn Bass, Joe Tyler....

But, yes, Arthur v Jack D is certainly the grandstand match in that line up

Paul Jubb withdrew today, as well as Tom Hands, replaced by Brandon Murphy and Clay Crawford. Toby Martin promoted to 5th seed

Paul was carrying a slight groin strain during his match with Cam last week.  He managed to finish the match so hopefully the injury is not too serious and his withdrawal is just a precaution.

What a super result for our home-grown Frenchie, young Arthur Féry.

Took out Jack Draper, 6-3 6-4, playing some excellent tennis - just like last week - it's been good watching him come on, and there's obviously more to come, always liked the way he loves to come forward and sees the spaces really well, as he grows that's going to get better and better...

Of course, Jack may be a little rusty too....

Arthur Fery beat Jack Draper, 6-3 6-4. He really is on a great run at the moment. Just a shame the tour is not on and he cant pick up any world ranking points at the moment.
