Here is a clip from a 1st round qualifying match in Doha. This apparently is genuine and the score was 6-0 6-0, a golden match where one player won all 48 points. Not hard to see why.

There is clearly hope for me yet.

That's brilliant biggrin

If you've had a lot of dealings with beginners, you can see it's genuine, just brilliant.

Oh wow that is hilarious, I love this. I thought you needed to be at least nationally ranked to enter futures qualifying or if the draw is not full do they literally let anyone enter? If so I am definitely entering one, just for the livestream footage!

I think you just have to have your ITF PIN number and you can enter anything. But I've been wrong before.

Id imagine a lot out backpacker players that turn up and get beat every week probably have a similar standard.

I remember turning up to watch at Wrexham and a 60 year old American got into qualifying as the draw wasn't full.
It was a wee bit embarrassing...

Apparently the guy had never played before. Him and his mates were in the area, so he entered, they backed against him heavily and paid for their trip!

Can't believe betting is available for futures qualifying though, thats asking for trouble.

Pretty confident he had played a bit as he could actually serve.
