I checked the score at the start and Emma was down 2-0 and seemed to be struggling with her serve so she obvioulsy got that sorted in her next service game and then it was pretty plain sailing
Encouragingly straightforward that over the solid-at-$25K-level Norwegian 4th seed. No seeming artifacts in that result from whatever ailed Ms. Raducanu last week.
These recent score lines are so so impressive. Probably jinx her, but looking at the remaining field and the way she has been going through the draw, I could maybe see a title here. An all GB final must be reasonably likely, although we did see that things can sharp change last week.
Good luck to both.
Again, didn't mean to quote, can't someone look into this, it's been about 24 hours now.

Have you done the obvious things Ace? Deleted all your cookies, rebooted your device, logged out of britishtennis.activboard and back in again etc?
I'm not a computer (or smartphone) buff, but a lot of the time doing these basic actions resolves this kind of issue. Also check your software is up to date.
Super stuff by Enma, now a QF win away from passing the grouping of Eden, Emily WS, Tara and Naomi snd so up to GB #14 and almost certainly taking out her CH 459. Clearly though she has been playing tennis way above that level.
Naiktha looks like she may already be taking out her CH 222. Been quite a turnaround recently.

I initially assumed it was an external issue, but must be internal as nobody else has mentioned it. I did log out and log in, but no joy, so will have to look into other methods, cheers.
Another excellent win for Emma and I believe those points will put her ahead of Naomi, Tara, Emily and Eden in the GB rankings. Her form this week should definitely give us all huge encouragement for next year. Good to have something to cheer on such a depressing morning.

Great to see both come through, and that's another week in India where we have 2 in the semi finals, with the chance of an all GB final, and hopefully it happens this time. Both were 1/6 (vs 7/2) to come through their QFs today, and Emma is 3/10 and Naiktha is 4/11 to win their respective semi finals tomorrow, so there's a fair chance it'll happen, but of course it has to be won on the court, not on paper.
Like last week, both semi finals are at 5.30am UK time (11am local), so it'll be a case of waking up to the result again.
Two good wins today... and in the SF Emma will get another qualifier, and even though her CH looks good, seems to have been on a slide the last year, since I can't see that she has been out injure for any time. There should therefore be more than a reasonable chance of an all GB final.
