I wanted to put this in General Discussion as opposed to predictions as I felt it was worthy of discussion.
I wondered who people reckoned would win the 2020 Slams and any thoughts behind it:
I will give it a go:
Australian Open - Djokovic and Osaka
French Open - Thiem and Halep
Wimbledon - Tsitsipas and Barty
US Open - Djokovic and Andreescu
I think the womens side will be split across the 3 big names coming up, and Halep will get a third slam. For the men, Djoko is still the best and will continue to be on hardcourts. I dont think this past week will have any impact at all. Thiem is ready to win the FO ( I predicted he would last year and he almost got there) and I think Tsitsipas has the game for grass and will win at Wimbledon. Roger Federer I see as done winning slams and Nadal I think may find the others coming past him.
As for Brits, Jo Konta is clearly the most likely woman to do well and I see a SF appearance for her. On the mens side, Dan and Kyle might get a last 16 somewhere (Dan Wimbledon, Kyle US Open perhaps), dont see Cam or Jack Draper or anyone else getting that far. Andy, hard to say what best of 5 will bring for him, dont see him winning anything but on Wimbledon's Grass Courts, maybe a QF performance from him is possible.

I don't think last week at the O2 will prove to be anywhere relevant in terms of men's slams next year. Still can't see passed the big 3 for the whole of next year. Remember they will be very selective in the tournaments they play, in order to be fully fit for the slams.
