I'd be interested, if this was say a Madrid ATP 500 semi final match between Shapo and Karen, what would the attendance be like? Surely it's not too unrealistic to expect to see a few more Spanish tennis fans in the venue, even if it is 2 players representing countries that they have no links to.
I'm not sure where in the UK could host it at a venue with 3 courts, but if it did come here once we lost the ATP finals, I'd be interested to see what the attendances would be like there.

London clearly has enough venues, the o2 plus some of the Olympic venues, one or two others around the city, it would just be logistics and bookings.
It has enough residents of all countries, London is a melting pot and great for it. You just have to see the tour finals to see the fans of each country turn out. London would be perfect.
Arrived safely. Emailed the LTA at 01.00 hours. By the time I got up at 07.00 hrs I had got my confirmatory email. Wanted to try and get in early to go to the practice courts but not allowed. Cant get ticket until 15.30 hrs and not allowed in until 16.00 hrs. Should have had a lie in.
Well done Bob! Oh what a shame they won't let you in early. Maybe a few hours sleep now? But set an alarm! Have a great time and please cheer madly on behalf of those of us not there!

Shapovalov beats Khachanov 6-4 4-6 6-4 to force the deciding doubles (again), he got the crucial break at 4-4 to serve for it, but he himself was *0-40 down in the final game - he even served wide, which wasn't called, Khachanov returned to seemingly break back, Shapo challenged his own serve, so a got a 2nd serve and then won the next 5 points to take the match. Drama. It might push the GB match back a tiny bit depending on how deep the dubs go, but shouldn't be anything ridiculous.
Bob, I hope the guys put on a good performance for you
I've really enjoyed this fresh new format - so many great matches and so exciting. What a feast of good tennis November has been - takes me away from the somewhat gloomy weather
First semi final is all coming down to the deciding set in the deciding doubles. 6-3 3-6 0-0. First two sets have lasted just over an hour combined, so if the final set is similar then it should finish not long after 4pm (UK), which should then be enough to get the large Spain-GB crowd in, and start roughly on schedule at 4.30pm.
