Week 46 - ITF M15 - Maputo, Mozambique (hard)

QR1:  (q1)  Patrick Foley WR 1295 (CH = 1271 in September) vs BYE

Alexis Canter should again be in the main draw.

Off topic, anyone know why the ATP's suddenly started sticking a "T" after some singles rankings?  confuse

Patrick is Tied WR 1295 with in this case one other player, none of the tiebreakers seperating them.

Certainly not new for the ATP/WTA app ranking lists or individual entries. Not sure about the ATP site but It wouldn't have struck me as new.

Well, take it from me, it's only appeared in the last couple of weeks or so on the ATP site, but thanks for the explanation, Indy.

They've had T on the ATP rankings list site for ages (if you go back and look at old dates, they're there).

But I've noticed a lot of them recently too, SC, way more than normal, and I was wondering if that was to do with the new system kicking in over the past few months? Not sure quite how that would effect it but is that possible?

With some 70 players on 4 points as is Patrick, there are bound to be a lot of ties. I'm inclined to agree that it is a result of the change in the rankings system, bringing a lot of M15 one-pointers into the equation. i must admit though, I don't look at the ATP rankings site, as other sites are much easier to search.
