Federer beats Berrettini 7-6 6-3. Probably unlikely, but I'm hoping Thiem can beat Djokovic tonight and then Djokovic-Federer will become a straight shootout for 2nd place, rather than 3 players potentially ending on 2 wins or 1 win and scrapping for sets and games.
I am hoping for Thiem to win also, in my case just because I cant really say I have much affinity for Djoko for a variety of reasons and also because it would be refreshing. Plus it would make the Thursday night (presumably) match between Fed and Djoko VERY interesting!
Amazing match! Unbelievable momentum shifts. Roll on Thursday for the big one. Really hope it's evening.
Catherine W confirms that Federer-Djokovic is the evening match. A bit of a shame for the BBC to have a nothing match, Thiem doesn't even need a win to top the group due to the H2H rule, but at least the main event is on when most won't be at work.

Been rewatching the highlights of this, what a match. Thiem played brilliantly v Fed, stepping in close and dominating, tonight it was just all out attacking play, not one shot was not hell for leather. Excellent and well done.
Thiem's reaction said it all - he celebrated like he had won a slam. If the O2 had more of these, we woudnt be losing this event. Shame and congrats to both
Worth noting that Joe Salisbury will end the year as British Number one in doubles, with his win today. Rises to 19th place live rankings and a win in the semis will take him to 14th guaranteed. Well done Joe
Also, like the Prime commentary on this, Koenig is good, Catherine Whittaker is a good presenter and Dani Hantuchova did well as well. Good stats use as well.
As expected, Fed and Djoko go again Thursday evening; Joe is in the opening match again at 12 noon, disappointing as I think he deserved an evening billing but I guess the organisers need to spread the meaningful matches into both sessions as the other two matches have nothing riding on them apart from money and points.
