Shame it's his last tournament of the year now he's finally getting some momentum together, but hopefully he'll come out firing in 2020.

Good to see from Jay.

He has been getting wins of late but that is his first win against a top 300 player since Wimbedon. Indeed the two here so far are just his 2nd and 3rd against top 500 players.

So yes pity in some ways to have a break when he seems to be finally finding his better form again but hopefully he is in a much better place after injury issues and the Harriet/ Coco car crash, ready for a good close season and progressive 2020.

First though a QF tester here and maybe even more. Further sharp rankings step up though.

Huge hold for Jay after a long game. On serve in the 3rd at 3-2*

Jay slipping in the underarm serve on the final point in the last game.

Yay, a day after that first win against a top 300 player since Wimbledon Jay manages a good top 200 win ( higher rhan Rubin at Wimbledon ). Form indeed refound !

Up to live ranked 160 and looking to be more playing like that.
