I am really angry with this article. It is nothing but a patchwork of various previously published things collected over the internet.
Grr.... I would have loved to see a proper full interview with Dyce.
The only new things are that he he aims to get a point very soon and more importantly, the fact that he has a full scholarship for 2007!
The problem with IMG is that with all the hidden intents and power play involved, at times it's really difficult to judge what Nick's true motives are, but I'll hope for the best and think that Dyce has improved a lot during the last few months.
I think you're a little harsh on it Arky, it was an ok interview and an interesting read. There'll be many more interviews to come from Grame over the next few years.
It says that Graeme's plan for this winter was to get his first point but so far he's only played 1 futures in the last few months - when he got a wc into the Glasgow 15K. Maybe he's going to enter some more events in December, perhaps head to India.
Graeme's upcoming plans: He's going to stay in Florida for the next few weeks and then he's heading to Mexico for a week, I guess for a junior tournament as the futures have finished there for the year.
I didn't say that the article is bad!! It's just that the article isn't "original". It's old material collected from various sources.
My guess is that Dyce will play in the double header at Mexico after Orange Bowl - Yucatan Cup (G1) and the Casablanca Cup (GA). He could skip Casablanca and head for India, but I doubt it. Another possibility is that he will play in the Prince Cup G4 right after Orange Bowl.
I believe that Josh Milton will go to Mexico as he has a lot to defend. Josh may actually stay in North America during the whole of December.
Cox's most likely destination seems India.
Yucatan Cup entry deadline is tomorrow, so we will get to know all those answers very soon. Prince Cup lists will be published on the 22nd.
The only Brits are in the alts. - Peter Francis, Akhazzan and Nicholas Hallchurch.
Dyce has a lot to defend in January and February, so I hope that he will do well in the few tournaments before that.
I am surprised that Jonathan Eyserric is playing here. He said that he won't play again in 2006. I guess that he is aiming for world number one by the end of the year, which he should get as Kizan defends 500 from Roland Garros.
Thanks for the link Arka....hope he has a good run in Aussie.....really hope he takes the advice given and gives Andy company on the tour in the near future !!!!!
He should push hard for a seeding at Roland Garros. He has a lot to defend, so I would like to see him in South America towards the end of the COSAT circuit. The surface will suit him very well, there'll be loads of friends and he'll be full of confidence. He can easily crack the top 20 if he plays like he did in Australia.
