The top seed Seagull refers to is JWR18. Harry lost to him in three sets in the Osaka Grade A . Marni appears to have a better chance of progress against a young Aussie, though she has reached a 15K semi

As expected it is just Marni who reaches the semis. There she faces the second seed, a young (2004) fast rising Aussie, who reached four consecutive finals before the Asian swing

(The top 100 is obviously more significant now as it gets you JR places in the MD of ITF events).
