Very true especially wins against guys like Schwartzman and Isner for example.

I was reading that Nole has a cold, so is under the weather. I just hope that Kyle can take advantage of it!

Not to be. Didn't see any of the match but looks like a decent effort in the 1st set at least.

Kyle loses 7-6(7) 6-1

40% Novak first set, 70% Novak 2nd set probably gives you the true picture.

A pity he couldnt eek out that first set however 2 good wins after a bad run should hopefully set him up well for Davis Cup and a a platform for getting back towards to top 50 next year.

Very decent day on the doubles front with Brits (+1) taking out the 1st and 2nd seeds.

I was wondering, does anyone know what became of David O'Hare, who was Joe's doubles partner for a long while? Did he just retire or is he still plying his trade somewhere? Looks like his last event was a Futures in Thailand almost two years ago.

I know he was playing Team Tennis in New Zealand last year along with Ed Corrie so it looks like he retired, I think he was injured to begin with though.

Had the pleasure of meeting David a couple of years back in the summer of 2017. He was playing doubles with Freddie Neilsen in Palma del Rio, while Joe was back preparing for Wimbledon. Top guys, the pair of them.

I think he might be coaching, though I'm not sure where he's based out of. He was with Joe and Rajeev for their win in Vienna. Photo here on Joe's Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B4IpbwngHX7/ and here on David's https://www.instagram.com/p/B4J0DI5ARR5/.

I think he also travelled with Luke Bambridge earlier in the year.
